Visitors of all ages are invited to enjoy our permanent model railroad show in downtown Niagara Falls, Canada. You can bring your own model train and give it a go on our unique layout! Test your engine against ours!

Locomoland has a one-of-a-kind propeller air bus, designed, and built on-site. This suspended monorail needs to be seen to be believed! We also offer an amazing slot car racetrack with distinctive cars such as Lamborghinis for visitors to compete against each other.

About Locomoland: Model Train Miniature exhibition

Locomoland, spend hours playing with exclusive models amongst over 2,000 square feet of landscape. Travel over rivers, through countryside, cities, and around mountains with speeds of up to 418 km/h (260 mph). We have also created special surroundings such as fairy lands, and even Star Wars aircrafts!

What sets us apart from other model train exhibition is the opportunity to control the train through the eyes of the conductor! With the help of built-in mini cameras, choose to see the landscapes as a driver or a passenger. You are literally in the driver’s seat as you control the train through video.

Learn about the technical side of model trains and the computerized controllers as you explore. Allow your inner child to experiment as you are encouraged to push all of the buttons strategically placed around the miniature train world.

History of Locomoland Corporation

Our love for all things miniature and model trains started long ago. The idea to share our passion with others came to life in the summer of 2017. With planning, designing, and creating, we opened our doors in April of 2018.

What began as an idea in a little basement has quickly grown into a miniature world of wonder for visitors from across the world. The fully automatic exhibit offers modern model trains, cars, and aircrafts, among miniature buildings and figures.

What Is a Model Railroad?

A hobby among millions, a model railroad is a replica of trains at a much smaller scale. Model railroads have been popular among train lovers since the 1840s. These beds of tracks now run on household electricity and battery power.

Our Mission

At Locomoland, our mission is simple: offer fellow railfans an opportunity to enjoy and share our passion for model train railways.

Aside from marvelling at the fast-speeding trains, visitors can share stories about their past and present train layouts. There is much for all of us to learn about both the technical side and the design behind model trains.

As one of the best train shows, we offer complimentary repair service on model trains. We also have a seller’s corner on-site and online for those who want to update their collection.
